I'm an absolute creature of habit, same picks same strings etc for as long as I can remember. Switched to treepicks a number of years ago and there is a difference in tone. Different woods subtle tonal differences. I'm a big fan of cherry wood and purple heart particularly.
It's also nice to be able to have them customized.

Can these picks work on acoustic and/or electric guitars?
Yes! Our picks can be used on either acoustic or electric guitar without any problems.
Is shipping really free?
Yes! When you checkout, you will be presented with several shipping options. One of the options will be "Free Shipping." Our free shipping program gets sent through regular mail using a stamp, and there for doesn't come with tracking. We are based in Calgary. Mail usually takes 1-2 business days to get through the city.
If it doesn't arrive before Father's Day, we will personally deliver it to you.

I'm buying these for someone who uses a plastic pick. Why a wood pick?
This is the question we get asked the most. The answer in one word is - TONE! Wooden picks will give you a different sound. Generally speaking it is a warmer tone and the attack is different than a plastic pick. The really cool thing is that all of our picks sound slightly different depending on the type of wood they are made from. If the gift is for someone who uses plastic pick, they will definitely notice a difference in feel and sound using a wooden pick.
There are many environmental reasons as well. We plant a tree for every package we sell, and wooden picks will eventually compost much faster than a plastic pick.
However, we here at Tree Picks are musicians and the main reason we like to use a pick made out of wood is because of how it sounds.

Yes! Tree Picks is a company based in NW Calgary, Alberta. We've been making picks since 2017 and our picks have been used on the biggest stages all over the world by the likes of members of Shania Twain's band, Lake Street Dive, Thomas Rhett's band and Crash Test Dummies to name a few.
