I bought these picks to encourage a Canadian entrepreneur, and because I thought they looked cool.
Turns out I also love the picks from a guitar playing perspective. I needed a bit of time to get used to them, but the wood is hard with a subtle flex that I really like, both on electric and acoustic. And they do look amazing.
And to top it off, the owner Adam seems like a great dude, who reached out personally to thank me and ask for feedback.

These picks are great. I didn't know what to think of wooden picks at first, but when I tried them, I couldn't help but notice the change in tone! The Purple Heart ones are a hard wood, and depending on your playing style, they should last a while. I've noticed they bring out a richer, warmer tone, especially on my acoustic. Wooden picks are the way to go, and Tree Picks are the best! Thank You Adam!! You ROCK!!!
I'm normally a finger picker but wanted to try these picks as they are not plastic. (And they look good). I found them to be nice and light and had a good feel. Not slippery or hard on the strings. The ones I tried give a a warmer tone. To my ear at least. Definitely worth a try!
